Michael Hastings Illinois who was born in Oakland is
an Illinois senate which includes the parts like Lockport, Frankfort, Tinley
Park, Mokena, Orland Park, University Park, Matteson, Homewood, Flossmoor,
Olympia Fields, Hazel Crest, Oak Forest, New Lenox, Joliet, University Park, Richton
Park, Country Club and Frankfort Square. Before a politician, the senator was
an officer in the US army and a vice president of a school board. He completed
his graduation from West Point in 2003 and then joined the US army. He served
in Iraq as a captain and managed to earn a Bronze Star for his great work in
combating.

The career of Michael Hastings Tinley Park in public
service started with the Board of Trustees for a high school election, and then
there was no stopping to that. He served as a co-chair of education committees
and district finance committees. Hasting sponsored the pension reform bill to
overcome the pension shortfall. To boost the job opportunities in 19th
district, he sponsored the funding for the development of a new airport in Peotone.
In addition, the state lawmaker is also pushing the state
police department to utilize the old and vacant building of a Lincoln-Way North
High School located in Frankfort. The 11-year old school building is vacant
from long duration, and it has a huge campus which can be utilized by the
police department for their crime and forensic lab. It would create many jobs
in the area and will cause economic development in that area.
Hastings has also taken steps for
the development of a new psychiatric hospital in Tinley Park. The 40,000 sq.ft
building located in Prosperi Drive is going to be turned into a psychiatric
hospital which is going to help the families of the young and adolescents in
dire need of mental health care. With the closing of Tinley Park mental centre,
the options for seeking mental health care has limited for the local residents.
The plan is to offer both inpatient and outpatient services daily.
