Senator Michael Hastings is
a democratic member of Illinois. Before starting his career as a Senate, he was
an officer in the U.S Army, where he served his country in Iraq, Iran and
Syria. He was also a vice-president of school board and a businessman. Michael

Michael believes that
economic development is important to create good jobs and to improve the living
quality of people. He has done a lot in the same direction. Recently, he
requested the Illinois state police to use the building of old high school as a
District 5 Headquarter which is currently located in Lockport. He also
suggested using the extra property to build a crime lab. This will benefit
nearby people by creating job opportunities and leading to their overall
economic development.

In addition, MichaelHastings Illinois has also started his efforts to start a mental health
institute in Tinley Park. It was noted by MIRA that the area does not have any
hospital other than Ingalls in Harvey. As there are no inpatient mental health
care facilities for adolescents and children, people end up getting to the far
situated mental hospital. The Tinley Park Mental Institute as suggested by
Michael Hastings will offer a closer place to the residents of the area where
they can get treatment for mental patient.
